"We had no reservations! we showed up and asked us to sit! the host at the front was the highest courtesy and profi! she even went out of her way to find out which table is booked for much later so that we can be accommodated! only if we hope she asked if we could eat with some time we knew. from the time we sat all the way to the end of the meal, our waitress was simply beautiful and very accommodating. it is also very well informed about the menu and the ingredients! the food was delicious and the service was also excellent! I could not say enough positive things about this establishment, because there is nothing to be grumst in here, since everyone is just nice and accommodating. I recommend this restaurant and will be back if I ever again am here with the family"

"Like everyone we have missed eating out and especially at our favourite Chinese restaurant the New Dorking Cantonese. We were therefore delighted to find it was indeed open for takeaways during this difficult COVID period. We drove 27 miles each way to collect our favourite dishes and so glad we did. "Overall a good restaurant which is a bit on the more expensive side but however they don’t charge service charge therefore it’s fine. The food is not too bad although the sirloin steak has a good taste however it is very chewy. Service here was quick and friendly so nothing to complain. Interior decor is very well made and gives you a good atmosphere of the Wild West while dining. If you come for boxhill than you have to stay for the food."
