"Lone Star New Plymouth, New Zealand. As one of my all time favorite I ordered the Lamb dish my partner ordered Campfire Burrito (veg). Both the dishes were excellent delicious. Compliments to the Chefs. We tried cocktails, Mojito Moscow Mule. Both drinks were a disappointment. Mojito was bland served with stale spoilt mint leaves whilst the latter drink tasted just plain ice ginger beer. Upon asking Chengchen at the bar to change drink she arrogantly said she would drink Mojito served like that. We spend so much at Lone Star this is the service we get. Jacob our waiter was friendly polite so that was good to see. Would be great to see if staff are trained well on how to mix cocktails mind you we do know our drinks hence saying."

"We visited Auckland! Whole family 15 of us, we ordered so many dishes, and the food was delicious! There was chicken malabar so delicious and the Tandoori chicken salad was just too good, it is a must try when you are there! If you're looking for halal food, it's half their food."

"We arrived around 7 pm to the hotel And asked the desk clerk where there was a good Italian place. He said he highly recommends the hotel Salt restaurant. We went to our room to get ourselves together and entered the restaurant at 8 pm to be greeted with We close in an hour. I said well will You kick us out at 9 pm? She said that 's when we close. So right off not wanted to drop over a $140 bucks to be rushed. Anyway sat in seats where the leather seemed to have worn off. We each had beef filets for dinner with prawns for the appetizer. The food was Ok the service not very attentive as I had to flag a server down for another drink. All in all would not dine here again based on this experience."

"Hearty portions and amazing flavors. We tried the eggs Benedict with beef carpaccio for sides and the fungi pasta with chicken truffle oil. Well balanced flavors and beautiful space. The flat whites were served with yummy edible chocolate spoons, a nice surprise! Excellent staff too."
