"Jerico's has been our point of contact for special occasions for years. Unfortunately, this time has not fulfilled all of our previous experiences. Usually the fillets (Knight's Cut) are incredibly tasty and tender. This time they were barely seasoned and had to be sent back to reach the medium kitchen we requested. This information was shared with both the hostess and our server. While the hostess offered to put another steak on the grill, we didn't want that as it would have been wasteful as we wouldn't be able to eat it then and we couldn't eat it home in time. That being said, the only response / action was to say that you and our server are sorry. We will continue to recommend Jerico's, but also warn."

"My family has long gone to the Crab Cooker. I'm part of the 3rd generation to fall in love with it. Even if our family is no longer in Newport, we always have to stop when we visit. Her crab cakes, Clam Chowder and smoked fish are hands down the best around. The restaurant is very cozy and the eclectic furnishings are never old. I can't wait next time I'm in town:"

"I found this restaurant with the happy cow app (although I had often been on pch). there are great vegetarian options that can be made vegan - although be careful to give their food preferences before the front, as the vegetarian tacos and burritos otherwise have cheese in them. I liked the Butternuss quash best, but the cauliflower and sweet potatoes options were also great. the place is on the water and seems to meet like a large restaurant with friends or their date / spouse. it seems packed, so I would recommend a reservation instead of going."

"This is one of the best spots we have discovered so far in newport beach. the staff are very friendly, including the dame at the cash register and the waiter. both came to our table a few times to ask if everything was in order. all the dishes were delicious. her clam chowder is very tasteful, the cioppino was very good. also the oysters and the scallops were very fresh, and the design of the beer was good. the food is cooked very quickly. we really enjoyed our experience here. in any case will be back."
