"I've been going here for quite a while now a few years maybe. Lately the simple task of making chip that look like they have only been cooked once or twice tops. Never had such awful chips in my life. Though every time I switch Chinese it's down to rubbish chips. You would think that would be the easy part to master. Disappointed to be honest as when we switched to here it was amazing"

"6 of us young at heart girlie's recently had afternoon tea. Beautifully presented, delicious food. Very tasty sandwiches, prawns in Marie Rose sauce on dainty bread, mini sausage rolls, mini scones and sweet treats. Tea and coffee aplenty. Very reasonable and Highly recommended."

"I won a meal for two in a Facebook compition whichI was delighted with .my sisters law and I went to cafe Essence last Thursday night and we had a wonderful evening. Soft music playing in the background and the food was mouth watering.The guy who served us was very attentive couldn't do enough for us I had Lemon crusted cod,garden peas,hand cut chips ,homemade tomato salsa which was all beautiful ,Pauline had chicken chassaurwith veg and hand cut chips for dessert we both had warm chocolate fudge cake with cream we were both stuffed to the gills a truly wonderful meal a beautiful way to spend a windy Thursday night Cafe Essence is a jewel in Bangors crown I would easy give them 11 out of 10 for the food.thank you Cafe Essence for a wonderful night.x"
