"Pre covid my fave place. Never dreamt it could have gone down hill so much, even the previously lovely toilets smelt like a dog kennel. The Sunday roast set lunch was awful couldn’t even cut the beef, no dauphinaise, creamed spinach tasted just of pepper not creamed again I’ve eaten that since it first opened. Waitress wasn’t bothered all in all an awful experience"

"I ate at La Tasca with my daughter in half term. The service was terrible with the waitress not being able to understand what we were saying. We had the wrong, drinks, missing Tapas ,but the biggest concern was the food! I ordered the Langostinos. When they arrived they were not fresh at all!! I returned them saying they were not fresh. I had a different dish of prawns. Big mistake as as soon as I got home I felt nauseous and subsequently spent the night vomiting. I suspected with food poisoning. My daughter had all vegetarian Tapas and she had chronic diarrhoea so I suspect cross contamination was present in the kitchen. I spoke to a manager to inform him, he seemed very apologetic and said he would phone me back to authorize a refund but he didn't phone back and I had to phone him days later! he did refund my money, but seemed to have a lack of concern about the suspected case of food poisoning. I've also noticed that all the bad reviews that were on the web site previously which had another case of diarrhoea )are now not available to view! wouldn't eat there ever again !"

"A perfect way to celebrate our jubilee. had drinks outside huge garden beautiful atmosphere. we then moved inside to dinner an absolutely delicious meal. the staff was on the spot and very friendly. we will definitely come back. thanks for making our evening special."

"Separate vegan menu with a wide selection of dishes including various curries, stir fry, vegan pad Thai etc. For lunch they offer a cheap "Tapas" style meal from Tofu-Curry, stir fried vegetables, rice and spring rolls. I have often eaten here and the food and service were always on the point."
