"Went for breaky because my wife was craving pancakes. They were packet pancakes, and arrived at the table stale and cold. I expected homemade at a cafe. I don’t want to recommend order pancakes. Other food is so so, hot drinks were fine, service was good."

"We dined at this hotel last week with some friends and family.. it was a Saturday night and the place was a buzz. The drink service was attentive for a smorgasbord restaurant, other similar places you have to get your own. Good selection of tasty food. My favourite was the hot baked leg ham.. good selection of seafood also. Our kids tucked into the hot donuts and ice cream. Wow.. I remember doing that when my parents took me here.. Great to see places like this still going strong.. overall, great value at $30. Attentive friendly staff, in comfortable surroundings."

"Very good real tandoori oven (it's behind a glass window on the way in) cooking. We had lamb Byani, a selection of naan breads and a tandoori starter selection. This included the best Indian style prawns I have ever tasted! Lovely enthusiastic and welcoming staff. There is a page of vegetarian curries in the menu and the eggplant one we tried was delicious. They have a small range of typical deserts but the one that caught my eye was the homemade Indian ice cream but unfortunately we were too full for desert. Belair bottle shop with the famous wall of beer is nearby, but I was not sure if they are byo so I had a pint of fullers ipa that they recommend and it was delicious. There is an extensive wine list and some spirits too. A kid friendly and casual atmosphere with some beautiful artefacts and photos of scenes from India. The only downer were the dead flies on the widow sill that the waitress said she would remove but then appeared to forget. We thought the oil they were using could have been a little old too. Hence, 3 stars for what could easily be a 4 star experience. The present incarnation is called Mumbai Indian restaurant and features the Indian national bird in its logo. It's part of the Belair vines shopping complex on your right as you crest new Belair Rd."

"Awesome night out, we went on a Monday. Watched the greyhounds race while we had our tea which was very good. Beef schnitzel with Kilpatrick sauce . Wife also had a beef schnitzel, hers was with hawaiian topping which we shared half each and they were both deelish. We had a few bets, didn't win but it was a great night out. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner"

"The food is amazing, they've been serving excellent authentic Hủ tiếu all these years, definitely my favourite. They maintain their quality, and the price is very affordable. "Great meal. Had dinner there tonight food was very tasty and fresh.<br/>Fussy Mother in law had a chicken quesadilla and loved it she cleaned the plate.<br/>Wife had enchiladas with chilli con carne and throughly enjoyed it.<br/>My toddler had the refryed beans with corn chips made a big mess but also loved it.<br/>I had beef burrito great flavour and quality meat.<br/>Will be going there again as soon as I get the chance.<br/>Try the Mexican soft drinks you will not be disappointed."

"A lovely, lovely hotel. The valet parking, reception and restaurant staff were all lovely to deal with and the room was gorgeous. Spacious, clean, a great bathroom and the view was fantastic. All round excellent experience, and we will definitely stay again."

"Have ordered from here a few times now and food is always amazing! My favourite place to get pizza. Had some trouble a few nights ago with Uber eats and our order got mixed up. Called up Monica’s and they offered to deliver the pizzas we were missing asap! Amazing customer service from the great staff, will definitely continue to order from here"
