"SERVICE The service was rather poor and inexperienced. Waiters seemed slightly nervous and live music was too loud. Didn't make you feel like staying to long. FOOD We choose pasta and ate: meat cannelloni, which I'd describe as good as any ordinary cannelloni you'd find at an average restaurant, or even a supermarket, with no distinctive flavour or presentation black linguini with prawns, which had a crucial mistake considering we’re talking about a restaurant that has a chef’s signature on the menu (Chef Artur Martins – the pasta strings were all broken in to small pieces, clearly showing that the pasta package had not been handled with care and every last piece of pasta was used no matter it’s size and condition. You couldn’t roll the linguini around your fork (not to mention the waiter forgot the spoon had a glass of wine (Cambra Rosé for which I paid 2,5 EUR (not 2,0 as shown on wine card , however still was a fair price considering it had satisfactory quality for dessert had a Panna Cota – regular – and a typical sweet bread (regueifa de UL and pumpkin pudding with orange and port wine cream, that was quite nice (attached a photo . VALUE Total price of about 36 EUR (standard couvert included seems overrated considering this is a 4 hotel and that we would have paid close to 50 EUR (2 pax if we had chosen other more typical non-pasta meals. After a couple of days in the area got the idea you can eat at around 30 EUR much tastier and typical food."
