"This year saw a complete overhaul of the menu, to a sharing Irish tapas style menu. The new dishes are superb and some old favourites are still available. The steak for example, all 500g, is like nothing I tried before, its so tender and tasty. Oysters are enormous and fresh fish is fantastic. The atmosphere and decor make for a really enjoyable experience. And last but not least the staff are so attentive and friendly, you really feel at home."

"A busy Saturday at 6:30 pm. We should have known better! We got a table immediately and menus shortly after .. then we waited and waited ... after ordering we waited lots more ... drinks order arrived after 40 minutes. Food arrived some time later ... I’d lost interest. My steak was ok, but I do a nicer one at home. Wife’s sea bass looked and tasted delicious. Asked for bill .. and waited. Got up after too long to pay at the bar and waited. Far too busy to enjoy and for staff to provide a service. So, we came back a few weeks later and it was quiet ... and food and service were brilliant. Again ... back here mid September. It’s busy! And I’m reminded of ... slooooww ... waaaaaiittttt ...... patience required."
