"I'm not generally a curry lover however I got chatting to a smashing couple having a drink outside The Boat Inn and they persuaded me to join them for a meal in Spice of Bruerne. I was really pleasantly surprised. There was plenty of choice on a good menu, I thought prices were reasonable and the food I had was really very good. I shall come here again next year when visiting Stoke Bruerne."

"Went for a birthday meal as a family of eight. There was a very small menu offered, either a Sunday roast, a burger, or a vegitarian curry. I opted for the roast chicken. The chicken was pink inside so was sent back to the kitchen. When the meal came backthe vegetables were undercooked, the roast potaoes reheated so hard on the outsde and only just warm inside, and the same with the stuffing, hard and dry, so I left most of the meal. I did complain twice to the girls who were serving. My daughter and son paid the bill, if it had been me I would have refused to pay for mine. At £18.00 it should have been of better quality. We won't be going again."

"Had something great to eat tonight with amazing company. the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. Yes, it's a bit expensive, but they get what they pay and this place is worth every penny. I had the pork, with a potato terrarine, roasted nectarin and cauliflower with a very beautiful blue cheese sauce (not sure what the crust was, but it was beautiful.) dessert was a heavenly and white chocolate (the best combination of aroma) biscuits with pistachio ice cream."

"Not used the restaurant before to order from, first time and I am so glad I did. No delivery charges or minimum order which is really good. Food arrived swiftly, the delivery driver even apologised for the delay. No need to apologise. Food was lovely, really pleased with my choice as I ordered a new dish never tried before. Would certainly order again."
