"A tasty new take in traditional Dalmatian recipes; a very rich Tom Yum variation, loaded with local fish, was followed by a tasty shellbone, thanks to the memories of the owner's grandma. A pleasant intermezzo in the form of free amuse leg (handmade pasta, in thick (also made home) ink mayonnaise, and with steamed sampi dressed a welcome breath before the arrival of the great main course: tećada a hearty brodetto, full of fish, mussels and crustacaeans. The wine list is usually local, but very well chosen. Portion size is correct and satisfying. Excellent price quality ratio. Very recommended."

"That is a tourist trap. small portions, Bland dishes and false prices. they put their food on a beautiful dish to think they have a beautiful culinary experience. when I wanted to pay with the card, they told us that the machine does not work and it is better to pay with cash. when I passed, I wanted to try the staff was much less friendly immediately. of course there was no problem with the machine. don't go here."

"My wife and I have been in split for 10 days, we have eaten in several “highly rated” restaurants that have proven to be best averaged. tonight we met the jackpot, we decided to try bakra, everything was absolutely delicious! I had the ribeye steak and the cheesecake, my wife had the chicago steak and chocolate cake. both were amazing, I had no steak, the juicy and tasteful in years, and the cheesecake. wow! bravo to the chefs! the atmosphere is fantastic, cozy and welcoming, our waiter “Tonci” made us like family, very friendly and attentive. good their time and money worth, don’t look further, eat here! thanks bakra and tonci for a nice evening!"

"Food was 3 stars but the fast service made it to 3.5 stars. Ordered pad thai as a vegan and it was good, could have had more spices. Food was ready in like 5 minutes, staff spoke fluent english. Good portion sizes Updated from previous review on 2022-08-01"

"Very good food. Went in the next day too. I tried the fish fry and black risotto.My wife tried the Barley prawns and Bell pepper stuffed meat. Everything is fresh and you will feel it as you taste. You could ask for half portion if you feel you are not up for finishing it."

"Had the shrimp risotto with beet sauce and it was creamy, earthy and had tons of small shrimp everywhere. Family also ordered the potato soup, which was really rich surprisngly and the Adriatic Traditional Joy for 2 persons who had to share a buttery pot of seafood and linguini. The shrimp cake was also very tasty, only wished that they contain more toast. All in all, including the service was great."
