"We visited just after opening on Friday lunchtime and opted for the eat as much as you like lunchtime offering. This is a limited menu of about 10 items and we selected 7 as follows: Pancake Rolls, Chicken Wings, Prawn Crackers, Egg Fried Rice, Plain Chow Mein, Chicken Curry and Sweet and Sour Chicken balls. Cooked for us and aimed to 2 guests which we were as 4 wings, 4 sweet and sour, pancake rolls etc. Food was ok but could have been better and no soup on either lunchtime or evening eat as much as you like menus. Main problem we had was it was so cold inside as a window was wide open in an attempt to clear window condensation. We had to ask for window to be closed as really was an ice box. Could have been better but was only 7 or 8 per head so not a problem. Evening menu is much larger and costs 14-99. We did not return for an evening meal as not too impressed."

"We absolutely love this place! The Food is a different class to anywhere else. The chef came out to male sure everything was ok and believe me it was better then ok.....it was the best Greek food we've had anywhere, and we eat out 3 times a week so that's saying something. Can't wait to return in April coz there's nowhere else that even comes close."

"Soya Oat milk an extra 60p which we were not made aware of when ordering. This made the hot chocolate £4.10 which I find quite expensive and the same with the tiny amount required for a cup of tea. Other than that very friendly service and the food drink was nice."

"A very small but beautiful place they have here! the fact that it is small, makes it so much better, usually in a huge restaurant you lost among all other tables and sometimes service can hit and miss, but not at this place! great eating a really nice menu that also changes! I was highly recommended here a few times. I would book a table although it is a small restaurant. well done!"

"It was embarrassing. Met up for a family lunch at my suggestion, but they just didn't have their act together. After waiting an hour after ordering we were told they had no ready cooked rice to go with one of the dishes and asked if we didnt mind waiting 20 minutes for some more to be cooked. We were hungry now, so opted for fries which really was not suited to the dish. The orders started to come out in dribs and drabs except the lamb chops. We were told to wait another 5 minutes while the gravy was made. It was a disasterous meal; I felt so bad. The Red Lion used to be so good. The embarrassed waitress apologised and took £10 off our bill which we felt went nowhere towards making up for our disappointment."
