"We took advantage of superbowl Sunday to be able to enjoy our valentine's dinner early and quietly here and were not disappointed! Our waitress was incredibly pleasant and animated which was nice. We started with the Lamb lollipops, absolutely delicious with a balsamic glaze and mint oil. The only downside was that they were cooked more medium well than medium rare but the cut of meat was so good that it was ok. We swapped goat cheese for blue cheese in the house salad--also great! The artichoke spinach ravioli with olive tapenade and butternut squash was well balanced and a good portion size. We finished with a cannoli and a piece of tiramisu. The cannoli was good, but the tiramisu was amazing, the best I've had. Cocktails were also well made. Would highly recommend this restaurant!"

"I still left the guy a tip for some reason. We used to go this place back when I traveled for work. It was great then. The server needs to learn to be more polite. We walked in and I headed straight to the bathroom. He stopped me and asked can I help you I said I looking for the bathroom. Very abruptly he said they are for customers only ? well I felt like walking out then but we didn 't. Too bad cuz when the food came it really was lacking any meat on both dishes served and a ton of onions and s$*t load of rice really went down hill. Will be my last visit there."

"All the food here is well prepared, fresh taste. The house fried rice is light and flavorful. We’ve eaten here for a number of years and have never been disappointed. The lunch specials are generous for one person. Starting with a bowl of soup. We’ve had hot ’n sour, egg drop, a tomato veggie, veggie in broth all very good! followed by the entree and choice of either fried or steamed rice on a plate. Favorites – sauteed three ingredients, mongolian beef, prawns and snow peas, almond chicken, string beans and pork, an eggplant dish – spicy but do not remember the name – very good! or lemon chicken. Dinner is the same, a bit larger portions with a higher price tag. The Mu Shu, chowmein, egg rolls and pot stickers are all very good. The worst item we’ve had their – the coke. It’s a bit on the syrupy side, so we stick to hot tea and water. Service is excellent."

"We recently started going back to Wah Shine. Not sure if it's under new management but it's MUCH better than we remembered from several years ago. Another big plus is the staff. They are so pleasant friendly and they make you feel so welcome and thank you for coming when you leave. Also, the food comes out amazingly fast and the portions are large and really good! They also have take-out when you just want to stay home and chill."

"I was craving sushi on the drive home from work. I forgot that Kazan is right up the street from me! I stopped by to order dinner to go. The staff greeted me immediately when I arrived. I provided 2 menus when I told the employee I wanted to order my food to go. The Server who helped me and ring in my order, was very very nice. She was hustling! A lot helping customers t kept coming in groups after I arrived, and she bounced back and forth between seating people, and taking food that was done to the tables. Everything looked delicious! She said it was okay for me to sit at the bar and take a look at the menus. My goodness were these menus HUGE! One menu was a regular menu with all the food ingredients and prices. The other menu was what I called the picture book version of the menu. It showed what all the rolls, appetizers, etc, looks like. My millennial self decided on The Lion King roll. LOL. With the salt and pepper prawns as a side. I paid for my meal and waited about 25 or so minutes. Which was about the time amount of time I was quoted that my food would be done. I sat on my phone and took a look at plants while I waited : My food looked delicious when it came out ..I couldn 't wait to take it home! After I was given my chopsticks, ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce, I was ready to go with my food into the sunset. I brought my food home and smashed it almost immediately! I got to give it to them .. I didn 't know sushi in Vacaville was smacking (delicious like this! Alright cow town...I see you!! I definitely look forward to eating in at Kazan the next time I have a sushi craving... just to try out the dine in experience."

"Sushi chefs are slow and lazy. Most of the chefs are staring off into space to avoid people requesting for sushi at the bar. You can not order sushi from your waiter, you have to order at the sushi bar and standing in line. Then you wait either on the side or at your table for your name to be called out. I don 't know how they manage this during busy lunch time. The way the sushi chefs handle the raw fish is so poor that they would toss it in their glass display in front of their working station without a care in the world. The waiter can only get order for appetizers. Food were poorly made and old/stale. Watched workers in the back handling food and on their cell phone at the same time. Later found out that this location changed management. This used to be our spot for sushi. Not anymore."
