"We ate in this restaurant a very hot evening. It was also very hot inside, but as they have not ouside seating, that was where we sat. It took ages before someone noticed us at all. Apparently there were only two people in the restaurant, a cook and a waitress, but there must have been more out back. Well eventually the waitress took our orders for pizzas, and then we waited some - a lot - more, while we witnessed pizzas being prepared for take-away, large parties being served etc. The pizzas, when eventually they arrived, were quite nice, but nothing out of the ordinary, except the regional touch: Pizza with goats cheese and honey - more peculiar than nice-tasting!"

"I'm still giving this place 4 stars, because out of a good dozen visits, only the last one was disappointing and more a case of the service than the food.The quality is really excellent, and their signature 'tourte sicilienne' with beef, aubergines, cheese and tomato is really delicious. Their daily specials have never disappointed either.Until our last visit (we perhaps go 5-6 times a year), the service had been friendly and efficient. A new waiter, however, was surly bordering on downright rude when we asked (politely) for the tepid white wine to be replaced and managed to walk past tables with empty plates and see nothing. Over and over.I really hope this was a case of somebody new and inexperienced, because it is our "go to" place when in Valence."

"Excellent kitchen. The dishes are fine and refined. The welcome is pleasant and the many tips. The owners, the kitchen lady and the gentleman at the service are very professional and friendly in bonus. Value for money is very good. The evening menus with entry/plat/dessert are 30 euros. On the map, the dishes are on an average of 20 euros. Restaurant to be recommended."

"Easy to miss this charming little restaurant as you walk along the pedestrianised Grand Rue. Cosy atmosphere, friendly service and excellent, simply but well presented food based on locally sourced produce. Exceptionally good value."

"DE-LI-CIEUX !!!! I really recommend this restaurant. Warm welcome. The dishes are sublime. And desserts too. Coktails made home with or without alcohol. Served with a homemade tapenade. And the price is reasonable given the quality of the dishes. I highly recommend!!! Plat : Veal pavilion with its Dessert cove : tiramisu with strawberry."
