"We booked a table at sorrento for our 6th year anniversary dinner. On arrival we were greeted immediately and our coats taken. Everyone we passed smiled and welcomed us to the restaurant. The waiting staff were very attentive, food choice was great, and the food quality, taste and value was amazing!! I had the lobster tail risotto which was divine, and my partner the steak which was cooked perfectly to medium rare. Everything was thought of water along with drinks, coffee after the meal offered etc. Just little touches which made it more of a fine dining experience rather than a run of the mill order food and leave experience. On leaving again everyone we passed thanked us and wished us a good evening. It was such a pleasant and welcoming experience. We have planned to make it a yearly visit for our anniversary going forward, so we will definitely be back."

"We are regularly at robbies, especially like the wine tasting night, that was a pudding night. there were two appetizers, main course and 5 puddings! plus a bottle of house wine for two all for £32.50 not only was it favorable, the wine was good and the food quality excellent. there were too much food and they allowed diners to take the chocolate pudding with the dressed to house! the place was not full, but there was a great atmosphere and the service was excellent as always. this is a restaurant that has a domestic feeling about it and they are treated like family and eating is always really good it is a jewel."

"Service slow, 30 min wait between finishing first and second course told as normal second courses not ordered in bar!!? So why have option on menus?!? Complained rude staff. Over priced for the quality especially on bar food. Good selection of premium beers. Fear place is starting to live on past reputations. For same or better go to The Cock or Orange Tree. On reputation, expected service and value for money 5/10. Must try harder.."
