"My neighbor asked me to drink to her dinner. I'm not often in chain restaurants. My visit here reminded me why. We sat at the bar. Although nobody sat there when we came in, the bartender had to clean the surface when we sat down. We ordered drinks my neighbor ordered an appetizer sample while I ordered the fried seafood plate. She fucked on the sampler. I tried one of her roast cheese wedges. The outside was badly pale, not crisp. There wasn't much taste. On my plate the shrimps were quite salty that I did not eat many. The mini-deviled baskets were again all the breads, I didn't just eat one. Luckily the fish was surprisingly good I ate 2 pieces. I've chosen the sweet potato casserole for my side, that was terrible. I ate something out of my fridge when I came home. I will definitely not return to this restaurant!"

"I recently officiated a wedding at the home of a very well to do couple in Westport, CT. It was a second marriage for both the bride and groom and was held throughout the expanse of the couple’s lush and lovely property.The bride opted to plan and manage the event herself. Luckily, Rick Kerzner and the Team at Emily’s Catering Group showed up extra early and were able to take over and rescue the event from the bride’s self-imposed chaos and impending disaster.Everything about the event turned out impeccable. From the pre-wedding drinks and hors d’oeuvres, quickly dealing with a brief sun shower, to the elegant sit down dinner, everything about the evening was stellar.The plated prime rib, crab cake, asparagus and celery root puree main dinner could not have been more perfect. Fortunately, I had passed on many of the hors d’oeuvres and had room for the overly generous main meal.Moments before the wedding cake and dessert buffet were rolled out, and as he walked around talking to the dozens of guests gathered for the elegant wedding feast, the groom was overheard announcing to everyone, “on a scale of 1 to 10, this was definitely a 15”.As I continued to speak with the couple over the following few weeks about the wedding and details of filing the necessary paperwork with the Town of Westport and getting copies of photos, the conversation always returned to the elegance and over the top professional food and service provided by Rick Kerzner and the Emily’s Catering Group.I have officiated many weddings often at elegant venues, but this is the first time the conversations during and after the wedding have been dominated by the service provided by the caterer. I can’t agree with the groom more. Not only did they rescue the event from impending disaster, Rick Kerzner and the Emily’s Catering Group definitely elevated this wedding to a Five Diamond Wedding Feast no one in attendance had ever experienced.Bravo and Congratulations to the new couple, but especially Rick Kerzner and the Emily’s Catering Group for the Five Diamond Wedding Feast at Westport you so elegantly imagineered."

"Today I had a wonderful Sunday brunch, even in the Bristol Buffet, owned my friends who also own Luke's Inn. The food was to die, fresh, delicious and I ate meat! Speck, sausage, ham and eggs of all kinds and desires: Benedict, cussed, omeletts, wonderful Frittata I loved the broccoli and cheese)! Together with filled French toast with strawberries and cream) and the Ugliest but Best Tasting Pancakes per Oatmeal and Cinnamon with blueberry sauce! Misshapen and crispy on the outside and delicate and tasty on the inside! I have eaten at buffets everywhere and my restaurant experience has taught me that buffet maintenance is the key; at Bristol Buffet there were workers who keep the steam tables fresh and clean... Nothing has ever been cold and dried. Bristol Buffet is the best yet, incomparable from buffets throughout the East Coast. This is NOT a Chinese buffet. I had breakfast, but there was also steak and sushi and chicken and a complete dessert station I skipped. Kudos to Ben Luk and Susan Luk and their staff. I'm giving 5 stars here! It is a new favorite and I recommend Prime Rib Night after 4:30 on Saturday! Run to this great new place in Bristol, RI able to now defunct Tweets! They also serve soft drinks and beer and wine, so Mimosas are a GO!"
