"We had a terrible experience in the jazz house. I had made a reservation for my friends birthday weeks before the time. I even wrote it for his birthday, but that was never commented and we sat in a cramped seat right in front. The drinks and the food were overrated. Our drinks were weak and it took forever until our waitress checked us. When they did, we asked for a cheese plate that was EIGHTEEN Dollar, so we expected it to contain a number of cheese, fruit and nuts. But what we were given was the opposite, there were five small pieces of cheese and three slices of apples. The plate looked like she was supposed to feed a mouse. We waited for an extreme time just so we could get our check and go right away. Our waitress was aware that we were annoyed and that we were still paying the cover fee. I paid a total of $75 for two watered drinks and five slices of cheese. Don't go here."

"I made a reservation for 6 people for 7:30. We arrived on time and were seated promptly and then spent the next 20 minutes waiting for someone to actually come to the table to take drinks order, offer menus, or really even acknowledge that we...were there. After about 10 minutes we asked the young lady that greeted us at the door if we could get some service. That had no result. We tried to attract the attention of one of the wait staff. Nothing. After 20 minutes we got up and walked out. We went down to Old Montréal to the Keg where we received excellent service and had a very enjoyable meal. Lesson ignore Houston and go to the Keg."

"I was there with a friend and the service was warmly, talked with us, open the door when left. The steak was good. Not many choices on the menu but that way what they have is good"

"I dined with colleagues. The Santa Fe chicken I ordered was nicely presented and was tasty. However, this restaurant needs a renovation. There are multiple bench seats where the leather is torn."

"We were in town to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday; party of 6. I had asked for a nice view table, but unfortunately, they could not accommodate as it was prom weekend- understood. 2 dinners of scallops, 1 fried shrimp, 1 stuffed rockfish, 1 stuffed shrimp and 1 cedar planked salmon. All good but salmon was a bit overdone. Alanna, our server was awesome. All in all a good meal and a good time"
