"When opened during the soft opening in the first week. We ordered asparagus and pulled pig slaughters for Hors d'oeuvres. The organic steak and beef straw are Entrées. The pulled pigs were good, but not exceptional, the asparagus on the other side came with a very beautiful horseradish sauce that perfectly complements the asparagus. Our steak, the local organic steak from Amherst Junction, was perfect nearby. The Stroganoff I'm usually not a big fan, I enjoyed enough that I would order it again. My only complaint about the whole place was the drinks in the bar. You have a decent wine selection at reasonable prices. But no local craftsman had beer I found strange. This was also the first week in which they were open, and I made the proposal that they should have more craft beer."

"We were uncertain, based on the different opinions of other reviews. We found Amber Grill a very good experience. The menu was varied, the prices were consistent (we were actually very surprised by other Stevens Point locations). The servers were very friendly and the service was timely. The food was good and overall a great experience. We don't know if we were lucky or others were hard, but we had a great experience. In fact, the next morning we came back for a great breakfast experience!"

"Great dinning location if you are boating on the river. This was my second visit. My burger was large and perfect cooked. My husband had prime rib and loved every bite. The sweet potato fries were probably not worth the upgrade. They seemed like theywere made freshly in house, but my friend's regular fries looked so much better. Our waitress was newer, but friendly andefficient. Love the outside tables. My only irritation was 12 oz. fountain beverages (diet coke, ice tea, etc. WERE $3.50 perglass- no free refills. I definitely understand that costs have gone up, but this seemed a little excessive."
