"My husband and I ate here 15 years ago, and remembered it as having the best dish of spaghetti alla carbonara we had ever eaten. We returned to Rome this year and couldn't wait to see if it lived up to our memory. It did not disappoint! I made a reservation via their Instagram page; even on a Thursday evening they filled up quickly. Our meal was delicious. We began with a salad: pear, parmigiano and arugula. Fantastic combo with a lovely balsamic glaze drizzled on top. The carbonara was delicious our favorite from the several we tried during our trip. We also tried the lasagne and the pappardelle in the menu both fantastic. Roasted potatoes also worth getting; we had them as part of our antipasto. Prices are a bit higher than other restaurants, but the portion sizes are plentiful, too big to order a primo and a secondo. And the food was worth the price for the quality. Should we return to Rome in the future, we will certainly return to Trattoria Cadorna. PS. There is an amazing gelateria around the corner: Gelateria I Caruso."
