"A Tuesday night was surprisingly busy, although no problems getting a table on it. friendly and knowledgeable personal, entertaining music with a modern and thoughtful interior design. very wide menu selections with impressive puddings (although unfortunately we could not manage). cannelloni with sides was delicious and with recommended peroni on the train (which went amazingly well with eating. top local restaurant. very reasonable prices. highly recommended."

"Great. I want to go to bristol alone. the harbour house has a beautiful, Scandi-Segel interior as well as an area on the waterfront terrace (see photos for both). no request was too much for the employees who were attentive and friendly. for beginners we enjoyed the kegeree the dipping sauce from this world and mush. for the net we had fish chips and seafood linguine another hit. After that we enjoyed churros (6 minis enough to share) and an old fashion (a bit bitter but not scrimp on the whisky). toilet facilities are pleasant. takes the card."

"This was the second time we had been to the George since it was refurbished. Last time it wasn’t very good and unfortunately this time it wasn’t much better. Real shame as the George used to have a reputation as the best pub in the area for food. Don’t be fooled by the online menu. Of the 11 main courses shown online only 7 we’re on the menu given to us. They did have a special cottage pie which was ok) but it’s not much of a special and you would need a saw to get through the parsnips they served with it. The other meals were average at best. By the time we were munching through the mains all of us had finished our drinks but it wasn’t until we had finished eating that someone asked us if we wanted another. You guys are losing sales ! As soon as the drinks arrived the bill came as well we hadn’t asked for it) and it made us feel like they wanted to close up. Despite living only yards away we won’t rush back. Real shame as we want you to be great again"
