"This was my 2nd try at Amare; the food and experience were worse than the 1st simply poor from start to finish. The table at which we were seated had a large puddle of water beneath the chair and foot placement area on one side of the table. My friend and I moved the table so that my feet were not in a puddle. A lemon drop martini was exceptionally tart, with no hint of sweetness. My friend ordered the burrata wouldn’t the normal practice be to take the salad back and make it correctly? After a few minutes he reappeared with a bowl of kalamata olives and a clogged salt shaker. It was up to me to make the salad!! We inquired about bread (which is complimentary and was being provided to other tables). After some time, bread was delivered to the table and was meh at best. Our main courses were truffle risotto, which was very good and cooked correctly, and spinach ricotta ravioli with red sauce. The raviolis were good but the sauce was bland and not better than from a jar. We had ordered two contorni (side dishes): cauliflower with garlic, capers and olives (no olives or capers upon delivery), and fried artichokes with pecorino (the waiter instead delivered brussel sprouts and said the kitchen was out of artichokes). BIZARRE! He never mentioned any of this just set down the brussel sprouts! And of course, there is a mandatory 20% service charge! I will never return."

"This is a new place that just opened January 2020, I noticed a groupon for steak dinner for 2 for 46, so, with a friend, we decided to try it, finally 23 everyone for steak dinner is not bad at all, you would spend more for happy hour food. The place is really nice, casual not fancy, but, good food, we had the charcuterie platter and the two steaks and to finish the profiterole, everything was good, we enjoyed it with a good bottle of red wine, Nero D’Avola, not expensive, quite reasonable for Miami Beach 36 a bottle, you cannot go wrong. In any case, even if you do not buy the Groupon the menu has really reasonable prices for South Beach. "My daughters and I were in South Beach for Mother's Day weekend. We love Espanola Way and never ate at Cafe Nuvo until this visit. The aroma brought us in. Our waiter Oscar was awesome. The bruschetta was fantastic and I shared a goat cheese salad with my girls that was to die for. Our entrees were delicious. Try the linguine Bolognese. I cannot wait till 2007 when we come back to South Beach and eat at Cafe Nuvo again."
