"Cucina managed to squeeze the two of us in on what was clearly a very busy Friday night. They seem to have plenty of staff (which is rare these days! which meant service was attentive but not too much and everything was done beautifully. Food was fab, wine was super cold and delicious, atmosphere was cracking. The place is much nicer and cosier and authentic inside than you expect from the outside (which I think looks rather industrial . We will most certainly be back. Been looking for our local 'go to ' place when you want something a little bit more fancy and think this might be it!"

"We visited The Rose Inn Friday evening for a meal. The atmosphere was pleasant and calm. The staff friendly and helpful (especially the waitress) who told us what few things were no longer on the menu that day and was honest and upfront that the food might take quite a while due to new people in the kitchen. I was delighted to be offered a vegan vegetarian menu (a nice touch). There was some good choices and I went for the halloumi salad which looked good and was enjoyable. The only thing that wasn't so good about it was the dressing was quite strong and overwhelmed the other flavours. I would of preferred being able to pour over the right amount for me. My fellow diner chose the hunters chicken and loved it. We waited in the garden which is lovely and were pleasantly surprised that our food only took 30 mins. A lot less time than we were warned it might be. Altogether a really lovely experience."

"A very nice experience... Been to many Italian restaurants.. But I feel this is a cut above the rest... Its only been open for a couple of weeks.. But we thought we would try.. Waiters are your typical friendly Italian waiters very helpful and loads of charm... The starters we very good and had lots of flavour was not disappointed at all.. The mains for the three of us would very good as well. I had the monk fish and shrimp on the screwer... With rice.... Now I found the fish a little bit dry but the rice was amazing. The taste was delicious. My daughter had the monk fish wrapped in parma ham and again it just tasted a little bit dry. Like the fish had just over cooked. But the rest of the dish was amazing..... My wife had the seafood linguine and we asked for some extra spice which was Deliverd she loved it. Deserts were fresh and very tasty The atmosphere was very good and relaxed. Cost slightly above the average but worth in my opinion the cost. Would definitely go again.. All I can say is good luck in the future.. Do what your doing now and you will do good.... Thank you for a pleasant evening..."
