"The food was very nice, but after looking at the website before booking i really was expecting something more. I don’t think our pasta was handmade etc. Just pretty standard italian food that you can get anywhere in London."

"I’ve always wanted to try this place. The greeting was warm and friendly and the restaurant felt very comfortable. There’s an old fashioned cover charge of £5 a head for olives and bread. I haven’t encountered this for years and years. It felt rather quaint. I would prefer to see it incorporated in the main charges rather than separate but that’s just my opinion. I had very tasty haddock and salmon fishcakes on a bed of spinach and my companion had spaghetti and meatballs. We shared a rocket and parmesan salad and both had a glass of house red which was good. The affogato was delicious and served in a lovely glass. We liked the food and felt very nicely served. The ambiance was interesting because it’s in the heart of the city and it was full of business people who could well have been dining on expense accounts. That was our only caveat; we both felt it was very expensive for what it was, which means sadly, that we won’t be regulars."

"We love this restaurant! Georgio and Giordano and fine hosts in a lovely establishment. The food is always good, fresh, and pretty! The wine list is extensive. The desserts are wonderful. It is busy at lunch time due to business location. Can be a quiet lovely place for dinner. Staff friendly, treat you as friends. Always a joy to have dinner at Georgio's!"
