"To begin with greetings were very friendly and welcoming. this was our second time to come to ravello when we came last time to celebrate a birthday and our jubilee. this time we were not happy with eating. I order the creste de gallo and it was “ok”. when the server took my order, he asked if I wanted a protein as a side. when I got my protein (steak), it was the whole 16 oz steak. he did not mention the charge of $40 on my escape or that it would be the whole steak. I thought it was smaller and cut. also ordered my fiancée margarita pizza. he is not one who can send food back or complain, as he feels bad. but he sent the pizza back because it was so terrible. the crust was extremely soft (can have used 2 extra minutes in the of) and the sauce was subpar. then he ordered the pappardelle. the Bolognese sauce tasted like canned cook boyardee. pasta was also very thick for a papperdelle and also hard. the steak was cooked to a perfect medium rarely. the moskito my fiancée had ordered, tasted old as if he was left out and opened all day. last time we were here and had the same moskito it tasted much better. our bill came to almost $200 I really don't mind that for dinner, but the quality of eating doesn't match the price. I am very disappointed with this experience. the server was easy to push. I'm a slower eater and I'm going to be full pretty fast, but he came back with commentary, as our food was hardly touched. I felt uncomfortable and as if I was observed while I was eating my meal. at one point I even had to let him know that I am on new drugs that let my appetit go away. we are not the ones who complain or feed back, because it is difficult for the server and chefs to return another escape, but it was so terrible that we had to send him back. I was shocked that the server did not mention the charging for the side of steak or that it would be the full 16 uncens steak that I could not finish."
