"We went to get a quick late lunch with dad and bf: ordered two mixed plates with porchetta and soppressa, cooked cheese, radicchio and polenta. They have added way too much salt and the food was barely eatable. Our mistake was to do not mention it first, because when we have informed the owner, the replied that we got was: no one has complained today and we usually receive only compliments from customers . Well thanks,very nice feedback from the staff. Never again."

"In my opinion, La Trave and host Franca can be described as an example of the ideal Osteria. All that is good about the Italian kitchen is on display here. Fresh, local seasonal ingredients (finferle mushrooms for us), a focus on perfectly prepared pastas and of course meats from the spit , a Veneto specialty. But Franca and her small staff are so gracious and efficient. She told me of her past experience with one of the most famous Veneto hotel and restaurant families. "My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It began with complementary prosecco and a tempura zuchini flower. We shared a tagliatelle dish with local cheese and each had the rack of lamb. Delicious! Our host recommended a local red wine, which was very good. We shared a chocolate torte for dessert, which was superb. Our host also brought a complementary fruit plate, which was very welcome. A wonderful evening and a terrific value."
