"I visited this restaurant with my husband and daughter who was visiting us from England to celebrate my birthday. As this is a Japanese restaurant in a staunchly italian environment I was somewhat cautious with my expectations but I did Ryoshi a disservice. It was excellent! The menu followed the traditional format with antipasto, prime and secondi but that’s were the similarity ended. The food was very fresh and not expensive. We ordered a number of salads such a Wakame, edamame beans and salata misto accompanied by a 32 piece sushi (which is served in a platter shaped like a boat), and a bottle of Prosecco. The food was amazing and the service good The Prosecco was too fizzy for my liking but was better after being left to stand for a while. I would definitely go back without any hesitation. The bill with the salads, sushi, and wine was very reasonable. Parking is easy but I’d advise you to book."

"We were lucky to find this lovely restaurant in Cortona as it was down a small alley way off the Main Street. We ate a three course meal and it was delicious. The ingredients were obviously very fresh and everything was beautifully presented.The restaurant had...traditional qualities with a modern twist. Very chic! The staff were friendly and welcoming. Would thoroughly recommend this place and if we return to Cortona would definitely eat there again. It was the nicest meal we experienced during our stay ."
