"Let me start by saying the service was perfect. I was never left wanting. From the moment we sat down our waiter was pleasant and attentive and anticipated anything we might need before we asked for it. Now the biggest issue. The food. Under seasoned across the board. I was shocked. It cost us a fortune and the food was completely bland. Now seasoning aside. Let’s say I just have a salty tastes. Fine. But dish by dish we were consistently disappointed by the flavour. They started us off with an amuse bouche that tasted like Campbells cream of asparagus. It wasn’t bad per se but it was also bland. Then the biggest gaff of the night the lobster ravioli. It was bland. Cold in the centre and the bisque had no lobster flavour. The chucks of lobster were rubbery and flavourless. Finally I had the beef tenderloin which was actually really great. The flavour was there but again could’ve used a bit of salt. My girlfriend found the same with her scallops. She said the dish needed something to set it off. More depth I guess. But I bet it just needed a small amount of salt to bring out the flavour. I don’t like salty foods. I have more of a sweet tooth. So me needing more salt here is what surprised me. I’m usually complaining about how salty the food is. This meal cost me an entire days work and meant to be a very special birthday celebration for my soon to be fiancé and this is what we got. Again the beef was great the service was great but damn these people need to taste more often during prep"

"Looking for a place to eat before we headed to a Just for Laughs show. Did a last minute online reservation and sat at the bar. We shared the Charcuterie and pickled vegetables and order two small plates. Everything was very flavourable.The wine and beer was good and the bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable."
