"Just had dinner there tonight and paid by Tesco vouchers .That was the stupidest thing as I gave the waiter my phone to get the code from them .I know I had 3 vouchers £30 ,£1..30 £9.00 .When we got back to our hotel .I checked my vouchers and £9.00 and gone .Checked my receipt,the bill £34.55 and he took all the vouchers .To say I am angry is an understatement.and we paid £3.20 for drinks .All he had to do was ask and we would have paid more money and not loose the £9.00"

"Myself, Husband and our Son visited Cisswood House Hotel for lunch today. The food was nice, although the service left lots to desire. Our food arrived in a timely fashion, although then 35 mins after receiving dinner and having finished for 20+ minutes, there was no sign of our plates being collected and the next course being ordered. I went up to the bar to remind them that we were still here. Our plates were soon collected and dessert ordered. Another timely wait for 2 x brownies and a sticky toffee pudding, we were served pudding, exactly 1 hour and 2 minutes after our lunch was served. Trying to keep a 4year old occupied for this amount of time is not pleasurable, the opposite to what a lunch out should be. I also overheard 2 other complaints being made to staff during our visit there. It seems that there were only 2 members of staff to cover the restaurant and the bar area- this isn’t sufficient. I do not recommend here for families with young children, nor if you are looking for a quick lunch (by quick I mean 1.5 hours or less. We were there for 2 hours and I’m glad to be home after our visit)"

"I really enjoyed my dinner here while on a business trip to Horsham. I had the grilled Courgette salad and crispy beef with chili sauce as my dinner, and it was a lot. Beautiful old building, staff was very friendly and friendly. The apple pears cider was excellent. Would definitely recommend eating here."

"Third time we have dined at La Piazzetta with different friends on each occasion. Each time all in our party have had a great meal. On this most recent occasion our friend commented he had the best sea bass he had ever had. We’ll will return."

"Service 11/10 Starter (Calamari Duck Parfait 10/10 Main 1 (50 Day Aged Fillet Mignon with bordelaise sauce cooked *Blue* 100/10 Main 2 (Fish and Chips 9/10 Pudding (Hot Brownie over 9000 Thank you to the front of house for our warm welcome, we arrive a little late but was very accommodating. And thank you to Irvana (apologies if I have spelt it wrong for great service! My steak took me back in time I felt like Anton Ego tasting his ratatouille in Gusto’s restaurant it took me back to a meal I remember having with my family in Holland as a child where I had my first real piece of steak . And it may just have managed to top it. I was a little sceptical about going to a Miller and Carter initially as it’s a chain restaurant. If you think the same Don’t. Yes it’s not a cheap place to eat out and you cannot come into a respectful restaurant wearing anything less then smart casual as anyone who understands dress etiquette will respect. I have flicked through some of the other reviews out of interest as my experience was so good that it baffled me to think that anyone could honestly/ reasonably leave a 1* review without being called Karen. Take all reviews with a pinch of salt. It’s a very very good restaurant! All in all, If you like steak they will look after you and give you great advise on what steak to have cooked your way! Perfect."
