"I was visiting Montreal, suggested by a friend to dine and am I ever happy I did! I am a traveler across Canada, and I went by myself to dine at one of Canada's top 100 and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! From service to food I was enthralled. I dined solo and I sat at the bar, It was an exceptional pleasure to watch the chefs at work. The crudo was amazing, but the real stunner was the meat pie. It invoked a visceral reaction within me and could not hold back tears as I ate the pork shoulder and rabbit meat pie. The service was stellar and I would recommend to any solo traveler, go to MP and watch the kitchen team pump out amazing dishes from the bar. It is unconventional, and if you don't like that, get lost! I loved my time and thank you chef for the baked oyster and the shot. I will send everyone I know there, and congrats for staying on Canada's top 100. I believe you should rank closer based on my experience. Forever grateful. <3"

"We avoided the touristy fare offered in the Old city section completely. One look at the menus and we began our search in the lesser travelled parts of town. Visit Little Italy, 10 minutes from Old Montreal--- lots of restaurants. We chose I Sensi based on a few reviews of the menu. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in minimalsist contmeporary decor--think upscale bistro in NYC. Food is fantastic from beginning to end. Appetizers, seafood, pasta and desert. Everything house made and prices very reasonable. Owner Rocco is awesome, also the real deal! Friendly, knowledgable, funny, and service was excellent. Appropriate for children. There was something on the menu for each of ours aged 15, 13, and 9. Atmosphere relaxed elegance and comfortable. Not to miss if you are looking for authentic Italian food prepared in fresh and creative ways!"

"We asked the waitress about a good white wine through the glass. She recommended one that we later recognized was not listed on the menu. Of course, she got us the most expensive, and of course she told us the PREIS. We have paid to the end... among other drinks, $17 (before taxes and service) for a glass of white wine that we would never have ordered otherwise. Shameful."

"I had a dinner reservation last night for a party of 5 (confirmation 5220) We ordered appetizers, main courses, drinks and were asked to leave. Encore ordering dessert because apparently there was a party of 50 booked for the back room and they didn’t realize they would need our table. I made reservations for your restaurant because it came highly recommended. It was my actually birthday cut short, we could not have dessert, coffee or any drinks, this is unacceptable. I can not believe an upscale resto would treat their customers that way. We drove 2 hrs and 15 minutes to dine at your establishment to have my birthday dinner ruined and my entire party embarrassed after spending $500 on dinner. I have never. When treated so poorly at a restaurant. I am beyond disappointed and embarrassed. Your establishment ended my birthday ruining my special night out. Shame on such poor poor service. This treatment is totally unacceptable. I could understand if my table had been there for hours was taking and not eating anymore but that wasn’t the case, we weren’t even done eating! We weren’t offered another table even somewhere else I’m your resto! Your service is absolutely disgusting. This is so unfortunate has the food we did have was lovely. I sent an email to the restaurant regarding this experience, they never replied. Terrible"

"As usual, the food was good but the service was slow. We were seated quickly, and our order was taken. The coffees took ages to arrive and then the food arrived even later. We love the food here but the slow service puts us off coming more often .."
