"Das Restaurant kannte ich nicht. Es wurde mir von einer Freundin empfohlen. Wir waren zu viert (alle Männer) und waren offen für alles. Der Koch (Inhaber zugleich) empfiehl uns, ihn einfach machen zulassen. Er fragte zunächst nach was wir gerne essen und was nicht und dann verschwand er in der Küche und zauberte ein Teller bzw Gänge nach dem anderen. Um es kurz zu machen: es waren alle genussvoll und geschmackvoll. Vor allem der "filetto di tonno" war einfach ein Schmaus. Nicht ganz günstig aber bei dieser Qualität und Geschmack absolut in Ordnung. Danach bin ich mehrmals dort essen gewesen."

"Absolute gem! I discovered this place by accident and it was one of the happiest foodie moments in Zurich so far. Everything here is simply awesome the food, the interior (colorful tiles on the floor , drinks, the fact they have an outdoor patio and the staff happy to help you choose the best option depending on your hunger level. Perfect place for groups of 10 (or possibly more people which is not that common in Zürich."

"Upon arrival, the welcome was friendly with a glass of prosecco. After ordering the food, we selected a wine from the wine list. Then the head waiter came and removed one of our tables in a complicated 5 minute operation. Because there was now not enough table space for 4, we requested having at least a small narrow table as a replacement. 10 minutes later we were moved to another table in the corridor which was very cramped and uncomfortable. 20 minutes later the starters were finally brought. The waiter had forgotten which wine we had ordered and gave us the wine list again a different wine list from the first time! Over the next 40 minutes nothing happened except that various members of south Italian families arrived who were greeted in an extremely subservient manner by the waiter. They got the best tables and the food was served instantly within 2 minutes. They brought their dogs who barked and sat on the tables. At this point we were fed up and made it clear that we wanted our main courses immediately. The waiter couldn’t care less and had forgotten what we ordered ! and when we told him, just said that one of the dishes was out anyway. Two hours after ordering ! We left the restaurant immediately after having wasted more than two hours with dismal service."

"From the restaurants we chose the cozy wood-panelled dining room instead of the Michelin-starred. beef tartar, lachs and the celery soup with fish was good to hide from a entrecote cafe de paris, a seafood risotto and calf liver. to be dessert. recommended are the applet tatin and of course the big cheese trolley. weinliste amazing, oipen white as aperitif delicious."

"We had lunch at the Catalan tavern on a sunny Saturday, enjoying the possibility to sit at an outside table on the lovely and quiet square. We shared a plate of mixed tapas and followed a mixed grill of fish. tapas are venting and tasty. the excellent grill, with fresh fish and well cooked and pleasantly accompanied by rice and spinach. To complete the whole two glasses of prosecco, water and coffee on an absolutely correct account considering that we are in the center of zurigo."
