"Absolutely the best quality meat I have found in Virginia Beach. I have tried pretty much everything and my favorites are the secret steak and the Kansas city style chicken kabobs..just got those today. But everything is top quality and the prices are reasonable for that type of quality. I ordered my Christmas prime rib from here and it was the best my family has ever had! I will never buy grocery store meat again! Oh and the staff are just the nicest people and so helpful!"

"The only reason I give 4 's is because you can 't improve on a 5. Everything can be improved but it 's hard to be critical of Tad 's Deli. The limited indoor seating was not an issue on a Wednesday afternoon in December. Had it been busy, we would have happily taken our meal out. The staff was cheerful and efficient, following up on our needs and the quality of our meals. Three of our party of four chose the box lunch which includes a sandwich, side (chips, macaroni salad, or potato salad), a bottled drink, and a cookie. The fourth chose to have a cup of soup as a side, forgoing the chips and cookie. The sandwiches were generously filled and the bread was soft and fresh. Meats had been sliced thin and complemented with the right amount of condiments. These are not your chain store sandwiches with an excess of bread and sauce. The soup (chicken with rice) was delicious and properly seasoned. The cookies were home made ; obviously prepared in house. You should definitely leave the beach and visit Tad 's for an excellent meal. Meals: Roast beef french dip topped with provolone, vinegar and salt chips, water, and a red velvet cookie Cubano, sliced ham and pork with provolone pickle and mustard, sirrachra chips, black cherry soda, and red velvet cookie. Ham and Swiss cheese with macaroni salad, cream soda and red velvet cookie Tuna salad on sour dough, chicken and rice soup, and cream soda."

"Good food although it's seems like every time I go back, the portions get smaller and smaller. A few years ago the fried platter was overflowing the plate. Now there's not even enough to cover the plate and it's $32. After the tip, the wife and I spent right at $100. The service was great but they need to give you a better bargain for your money. I will eat there again because it's my favorite restaurant in Virginia Beach, but I will be cutting costs next time."

"Inhaled the food before I could snap pictures. The atmosphere is bright and airy. The food menu is extensive, and everything that came out of the kitchen past our seats at the bar looked delicious. Ticket times were around 15 minites. And they offer chicken and turkey products for those that dont prefer red meat. Mom had chicken and waffles, I had French toast, added my own toppings and turkey sausage. The bartenders are top-notch. They are friendly, efficient, and they build beautiful drinks with a kick seemingly with their eyes closed. This will be my brunch choice anytime I'm in the area. Love this spot."

"I walked in said I was from door dash the cook immediately got very nasty and said everyone here is waiting for door dash orders. He continued to be very disrespectful to me as I am a 53 yr old woman and he surely looks like a child, he cussed at me on a few occasions, then after about 15 minutes of his harassment he handed me a very greasy bag that I had to bring to my customer. Very very unprofessional, he got nasty with another dasher and that man left the store!!"

"A kids meal cost 14.50 to get spaghetti and a meatball. the meatball was 7.50 on its own and the waitress didn’t even mention the price knowing it was more than the actual entree listed on the kids menu. when it was brought up to her she basically just said oh well. also the other waitress working seems as if our party was an inconvenience to her. my son and i will not be dining here again."
