"Found this little restaurant while wandering around Cologne. Straight away we were greeted by a lovely lady who made us feel welcome and at home despite us being English speaking. The ambience was lovely here with lots of pictures and masks on the wall but...overshadowing this was the warm welcome by (I presume) the family that runs this business. The food was lovely (pizza and calamari) and the price fair. We are in Cologne for a few more nights so might even go back. Well worth a visit if you're in the area and relaxation and atmosphere is as important as the food."

"Sonntags Abend haben leider auch in Köln viele Restaurants geschlossen. Zum Glück, denn sonst hätte ich diese kleine Pizzeria nicht gefunden. Es gibt einige Sitzplätze, vorwiegend wird jedoch wohl ausser Haus geliefert.Es war trotzdem gemütlich, der Service sehr zuvorkommend. Und dann das Essen! Der Salat Caprese war etwas kalt, was aber verständlich ist, wenn der Käse direkt aus dem Kühlschrank kommt. Der Geschmack und die Präsentation perfekt. Ebenso meine Pizza, mit einem hauchdünnen Teig und leckerem Belag. Auf Wunsch geschnitten und extra pikant gewürzt.Der Wein wurde in passenden und schönen Gläsern serviert, war ebenfalls gut und günstig.Wenn ich das nächste Mal in Köln bin, komme ich wieder :-))"

But since I didn't get any real kindness or an extra, as now clear tribal, it let me take off a star"

"Wir hatten Lammfilet und Iberisches Kottlet bestellt.Das Lammfilet war absolut durchgebraten und wurde aufgrund unserer Reklamation durch etwas besser gegarte Lammfilets ersetzt. Das iberische Kottlet war außentrocken und innen roh, das könnten wir natürlich erst spät anmerken. Man nahm dasohne Kommentar zur Kenntnis.Es gab keine Entschuldigung für das mißlungene Gericht, das Angebot eines Getränkes auf Kosten des Hauses lehnten wir ab.Wir waren zum zweiten und zum letzten Mal in diesem Lokal."

"Köln Ostheim ist kein Ort wie jeder andere. Das Restaurant ist ein angenehmer Ort mit guter Küche. Kein Schnäppchen allerdings dass Geld wert. Sehr freundlich und zu empfehlen. Speisekarte ist gut sortiert, Tagesangebote sind vorhanden. Tip wäre die Fischsuppe. Bitte mit dem Service sprechen und Wünsche ansprechen. Hier gibt es einen Weinkühler fürs Glas, warum nicht!"
