"I bit into my brisket taco and thought I’d died and went to Texas! I haven’t had barbecue this good since living down south. A fun, unassuming hole in the wall that serves awesome food. The fact that my gluten intolerant wife and daughter didn’t have any problems at all was an added bonus.Dietary restrictions: Both my wife and daughter have wheat allergies as well as problems with lactose. They have a dedicated grill so we didn’t have to worry about cross-contamination. No problems whatsoever!"

"Pleasantly surprised at this hidden gem. Great food, service and prices. I had the Salmon Ceasar Salad as a special on a Saturday night and it was fantastic. My husband had the roast beef stacker and that was excellent as well. The owner came out to talk to us multiple times and that made it even more of an excellent experience. We will definitely recommend and return!"

"Got this place recommended to me on Reddit. I really wanted to like this place. Friendly staff, killer menu, cool location and store. Ordered ribs, brisket, baked beans, and fries. Ribs were way overdone. Ok grilled flavor, not so much smoked, and sauce was ok but they were “fall off the bone” and that shouldn’t be the case. Beans were your standard GFS canned beans with some old meat thrown in. Not great but edible. Brisket should have been better. No bark unfortunately and the fat wasn’t rendered well. Eh. The fries were good! They shook on some extra zesty seasoning and they were fried to perfection. For the price I paid it should have been better than the chain bbq places like Dickies. Would I give it another try? Sure. If I’m ever in Bay City again."

"ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS I was brought to Gatsby’s Seafood and Steakhouse in Bay City on a Date and was our first time there. "Could be faster service. What we ordered was good but the order of chili cheese taters could have had more in it. There was only about 6 in there ... they could have filled the dish. Good otherwise but just thought there would be more in the dish. Good burger."
