"The Grand, certainly living up to such a name, most importantly I believe it is the atmosphere that is provided by an establishment that embellishes what a top quality restaurant ought to be. Contending with another top quality restaurant I've rated elsewhere, this restaurant provided me with a very exceptional evening. Greeted and served by a phenomenal server, Mara I believed set a benchmark hostesses,waitresses and servers the like should strive to achieve. Was genuinely attentive, caring and friendly. You can sense a true desire to serve from a hostess and it was evident from the beginning this was her. Along with a very respectful kind eager to serve manager, Bu-ton I believe was essential in creating such a fine dining experience. The meal was very very satisfying, an 8 Oz. NY Striploin served with baby potatoes, veggies and gravy was very on point. Meal prep and delivery like none other. Finished with a crepe on the house is only setting the bar higher for established restaurants. In my opinion you're not gonna get much better than The Grand Kitchen Bar. I truly appreciate what you have provided me and my wife with tonight. Will recommend everywhere I go. To top it all off....it wasn't a meal for 2 over 100$. Who can top that? This is real world dining at its best. I am ever grateful for you hosting me."

"Amazing amazing food!! My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed every bite of both our appetizers (Carpaccio Burrata) and our mains (Shrimp risotto and Chicken Parpadelle). You would never expect to have your pallet blown away from the outside of the restaurant but WOW, definitely worth the stop when in Canmore or the detour when driving by. Had to give 4 stars because the service was mediocre. Although our server was very nice, he did not come check up on us as we ate our meals to see if we were enjoying our food or needed anything more (even though the restaurant only had a handful of other patrons). Additionally, when we finished our meals, we were met by a bit of a strange reaction/attitude when we declined the dessert menu Parking: Bunch of parking on the street near by!"

"Checked this place out for the first time today at lunch. Tony the owner made many menu suggestions that are both popular and delicious. It was hard to pick which to eat, including gluten free and vegetarian friendly options. Food came out in an appropriate time, tasted amazing and looked fantastic. I'd recommend this place to anyone and I'll be back that's for sure!!"

"Had a great night here with my good friends. Service was great. Staff was friendly. Sat up on upstairs patio space. We had a great waitress and food was delicious. Had a nice cocktail. My friends tried the beer flight. Was a very relaxing visit and would recommend anyone to stop in for a bite. Family friendly. Cheers."

"We love the Drake! We made a reservation to be sure we would get a table. When we got there they sat us at the worst table right by the outdoor speakers while people with no reservations were getting really good tables. Food was amazing and the views incredible. Just look after those who take the tine to book."

"I thought on the way out of canmore for a sweet tasty bite, and on edible life was not disappointed! carol, the owner worked, she was wonderful! They can say much love and great ingredients go into their products. I took the “Rundle Bar” and “Chia Donuts” to go, they were amazing! many vegan and gluten-free options available. the selection in the load was impressive, and everything looked delicious! I will certainly come back every time I go into, or through canmore! can only serve 4 stars for restaurants serving meat"
