"Service was bad. Made a reservation for oâclock. Had a friend coming in from LA who wanted to go to a cool restaurant in Cleveland. Picked her up from the airport and arrived at the southside at Waited a few minutes to get seated at a table right behind the reservations desk at the front door. I shouldâve asked for a window seat near the fireplace. No big deal. Waited minutes even though we were feet from the receptionist for a server to come. Had to ask someone if we could get a server. She arrived took our drink order. Told us minutes later they were changing out the Christmas ale keg it would be right there. At Asked what else we wanted- to drink as they were having keg problems so she brought one Christmas sale in a glass. Without the sugar and cinnamon as ordered. It was flat. Still all OK had to pick other drinks to have even though we were looking forward to the Christmas Ale -great Lakes having had somebody come in from out of state. We ordered our food and drinks at the same time and since it had been minutes and hadnât received the drinks the food came before the drinks. So much for the relaxing pre-dinner cocktail/ale. The grilled romaine salad was excellent however it was extremely hot as in heat quotient as compared to other times I had ordered it. Having a Northeast Ohio cold I still liked it. But our LA friend and my husband could need it as it was too hot. The fried chicken sandwich was also wonderful. As was the pasta.. we were never asked how things were. I think we shouldâve been given a comp something or a drink or something for never receiving our order drinks. Overall food is good. But the service so it was so bad especially having made a reservation for a special occasion it certainly did not enhance our experience. But was just OK and obviously would never take them back there again."

"So they make bbq! we stopped here today to just take a lunch, this place sounded nice and what an incredible place it was! I am so glad that my friend has proposed it, because I would withdraw several times! but yes, the staff was friendly, helpful and tender; the owner/cook was super nice, came to our table to tell us about eating (I loved that, apparently he is like thousands of awards for his sauce/ribs-- not surprised over all); the flesh is all cooked in the house; everything is right price; the inner was clean and the sitting was super comfortable; I wish I had a photo. I had the bark sauce with some fries, and the cassian asked if I wanted to eat BBQ sauce on the fries, I said yes, big decision! my friend got the ribs, and he loved it, finished his entire teller."
