"So to be fair the food at Carolina Smoke is amazing. And the people are. Great. Have been here no less than 25 times. Fantastic food!!Used their online ordering system tonight for takeout.Online tab said the food would be ready at 5:39. Got here early just in case it was ready early at 5:29.Side note: it's a Thursday night and they are steady busy but not swamped. Zero wait time for a table so no line out the door. Plenty of tables available.So the online order system received my order. Paid a $3.00 surcharge to use their online system. And I also tipped online because the staff does work hard.Come to find out my order was accepted, paid for online and it printed in the kitchen. All good right?They just didn't acknowledge it in the kitchen until I walked in at 5:29 and the nice young lady up front went to the kitchen to check on it. So they started making it about 5:30.So on a very non-busy night I walked out with my food at 6:02 for an order that was supposed to be ready at 5:39.Nice people ... absolutely.Incredible food ... always.Will I order online again ... probably not.Listen no one is perfect and a one-star rating probably isn't fair. I'm just throwing this out there so management/ownership knows.Ok so now it gets worse. I get home and the order is wrong!!! Ugh!!!! I checked it before leaving but ... wrong food combo."
