"DAM fine. A quaint little spot in the middle of Main Street Nipawin with an eclectic decor from records on the roof to a chalkboard menu. Go hungry the brisket literally cuts with a butter knife and melts in your mouth with just the right amount of crust on the edges. Had the Caesar salad with homemade dressing delish. And that little cornbread muffin rounds it out perfectly. Satisfied the thirst by sampling two of the ‘dam’ drinks Saskatoon Berry and Apple. Love that the drinks and beer are Saskatchewan home grown. Loved. Do not expect a wide variety of choices or vegan options this is a smokehouse for a reason. Lots of great side options. Seemed good for kids saw lots of families. Must do when in the Wapiti or Tobin area area or en route to the North."

"Long wait to be seated and we were never actually seated as we picked our own table. Owner was sitting on a table with her back to us chatting to customers who had already finished their meal. The other 2 customers had seen us and could of mentioned it. It is not very professional for the owner to be sitting her bottom on a table top with her back to the door. After we went and sat and figured out what we wanted to order we waited to see if we would be noticed but nothing so one of us went over and asked if we could order. She didn’t seem to really care if we were there or not. This is her business, she should be aware of what is happening in it. Food is not as good as it was previous years and the service is definitely lacking. I have heard more complaints about the Spot , than I have been hearing good things."
