"Went in for lunch at smoking Jay's. Everything was amazing. Had a half rack of pork ribs cooked to perfection. The smoked Mac was outstanding, the okra was delightful. and the cornbread was the kind you only get in your dreams. Jackie Jay was a joy. This man loves what he does, and you can see it written on his face. If you want real local BBQ, take a trip to South O and dine with Jay. You will not be disappointed!!!"

"I usually come here for the sandwiches, but this time my friend and I opted for the bowls. I got the steak and my friend got the smoked brisket. They have many available sauces to put on your order. I really liked the mushroom sauce and used a lot of it. My steak bowl was very good. I had peppers, onions and jalapenos on mine also. It was very good. My friend gave me a sample of his smoked brisket and I liked it even more. I do not think I will be ordering the sandwiches any more. The menu board said the they will be serving pulled pork soon. I will be back to try it. We shared an order of fries and we both liked them very much. The place was pretty clean. Service was very quick. Portions were large and the prices reasonable."
