"The restaurant is so nice and clean , kudos to the employees , food is good ribs and brisket are so good . A little skimpy on the side of potato salad but other than that . We will eat there again."

"The food isn't really worth the price in my opinion. The chopped brisket comes without sauce- its dry and chopped so finely it's impossible to keep it on the bun. The bbq is on the table but the sauce to meat ratio is hard to achieve by adding the sauce on top. Overall the rest of the food isn't even noteworthy enough to mention. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice but there is much better bbq in town."

"Food was good and hot. The drive thru line was way too long so we went inside. It wasn't too loud and there's a separate room for kids to play around with large windows so you can still keep an eye on them without listening to all the screeching. The customer service was good too. Overall it was a pretty good experience and I'll probably be back at some point with the family.Vegetarian options: Impossible whoppers"

"After asking friends where to go for a high-end restaurant, the peasant village was recommended by everyone. The restaurant is located in an old house that has been updated to accommodate guests with seating and decorations. I haven't seen a parking lot, but there are plenty of parking nearby. Reservations are recommended as the seat is limited. The menu is seasonal so the food always changes. I ordered the ribeye and my wife got the salmon puppet. The server recommended the truffle fries for one side and my wife asked the potato mashed. The service was amazing, drinks were refilled regularly and records were deleted in time before the next record came. After we finished eating boss Jason introduced and asked if we enjoyed our meal. We finished the evening with lime cake for dessert. I enjoyed the food and service and would recommend to come here if you are looking for a high-end restaurant in San Angelo."
