"I had a hard time to eat gordo tacos, but the chaos was totally rewarding and if they love both bq and molé, the bbq molé sauce is the sky."

"So I 've been here before and LOVED it. However, each time I see the menu, they seem to raise the price. I think they 've reached the point where the value is bad. It 's crazy to think their prices have increased almost 100% since they opened. Inflation is hitting all of us, but it isn 't that bad. The beef tartare was okay, especially the piece of fried crispy rice square, but parts of the beef still felt a bit tough. I don 't know if that 's the cut of beef they used was just cheaper or they didn 't cut well. There was a 20$ add on for uni which didn 't feel quite worth it. The braised squash dish with cheese sauce was good, but not amazing. Conceptually, the dish seemed great, but it just lacked that wow factor and flavor in execution. The main dish with pork shoulder was okay. They said it was cooked for a day, and it 's served almost like a steak as they finish it by searing it, but the connective tissue didn 't break down as it was tough to cut and chew. I 'm trying to be open minded that this was just a different style of preparation and it is intentionally just a more chewy and meatier way to eat this cut of meat compared to what you think of pork shoulder in pulled pork which is fatty and soft. The red bean ice cream was amazing, but the eclairs that came with it felt very amateurish. The texture was off. They were also small, so the cream and chocolate was smaller, which made it feel off balance/meager and not luscious and decadent. It felt disconnected from the rest of the dish. The staff were super nice, but at $78 a pop without drinks before tax tip, this just feels like price gouging at this point which is weird cuz I used to think this restaurant was hands down the best value for fine dining. It 'd be one thing if the ingredients were high end, but the meal was cooked with very humble ingredients. Cabbage, pork shoulder (one of the cheaper cuts), squash, rice, potatoes. This isn 't exactly crab, fresh wasabi or fancy mushrooms. The quality and quantity just didn 't match the extremely high price point."

"To be fair, the slices we had had been reheated after sitting for sometime. I'm sure that's what made the crust tough."

"One of the best BBQs in the Bay Area. The meat was really tasty and juicy. They take pride in making their meat over 18 hours of roasting."

"Fantastic. Great little grill. I'm from Utah County. Every time my wife and I come to St George, we always stop here to grab a bite. I'm happy every time. The Brisket is probably one of my favorites. Great and friendly service. They won't be disappointed."
