"I sat at the bar for about ten minutes and was never served. There were three bartenders and none of them looked at me or said something to me. Other people came after me and were attended to them. I asked if I could order a drink and one of them toldthey were busy. Apparently they don't serve you if you are Hispanic. I left the place"

"We always go to this location. This was the shittiest survive we've ever received! Dirty plates that the waiter picked off infront of us.. waited an hour for our order while watching others eat and leave that came after us... when we got our food it was cold and raw! Never again!"

"What can I say? This place was great! I need to get to know Rick, who offered my group a special taste of a new Bourbon Batch idea he's working on. Good stuff! Had some ribs, brisket and pig. tender and juicy! Had at least 4 different flavors of BBQ sauce available on the table; all were great. Tomato base, but with vinegar and sugar in most. As far as I can say it is a family business; Rick's wife and daughter also worked. Absolutely love the memory and image from the last 70 years in and around Terre Haute. Would highly recommend."

"Solid dining locale. Good service today. We had the sliders and the balls and a pulled pork sandwich. Foods were very delicious with just the cole slaw as letting me down I'm big fan of Cole slaw but I'm very picky and just didn't enjoy it here. Balls were yummy and even had some fries from my aunts plate and they were super good. Sliders were very tasty! I was concerned that the staff was not properly wearing their masks during my visit."

"Nice place, friendly, but service last night at 8 to 9:15 pm was really slow. They had a band coming in a fair amount of folks coming in but the lines just stopped moving for 20 minutes i didn?t move. Beer was fine, the 2 we had were not too special. Ive been to places much busier and never struggled to get a second drink."

"This is one of those local BBQ places you only find in small towns and out of the way places. The point here is that the food is very good, the atmosphere is historic and the people are wonderful and humble. You get personalized service along with food that is locally made and has good flavor. These are the kind of places you don't find on purpose but by lucky events and never regret eating there. Don't miss out on the cookies for dessert, BUT if you do miss the cookies across the street is an old time real original Dairy Queen. Yes, a Dairy Queen without the red roof, but all the excellent ice cream treats."

"One of the very few restaurants in Terre Haute that gets my business. All of the smoked meats are delicious but it’s the sides the keep me coming back. The onion rings and sweet potato fries are my favorites! I also really enjoy the decor. There’s an old pic from the Coca Cola plant that has my great grandpa and great uncle in it."
