"I have been ordering from tipsy moose in Troy for over a year. This here leaves me very unsatisfied for sixteen dollars. Mind you I’ve ordered this before and have never been served such a portion and it would be placed in a smaller size pan. Got no good responses from the manager who told me I can bring it back if I’m not satisfied. No I’m not satisfied and no I’m not driving all the way back there because you are not management material. Are you going to reimburse me for my gas. I’ll definitely not be ordering again. I only ordered that because my coworker asked about the place and I told her they were great and so was their food. She sees me order their salad more often than not. Thank you but no thank you. Get it together. I didn’t even eat any. Called them right away."

"Lots of selfie opportunities City barbecue is fun and filled with fun spots for photo opportunities. There is a large beach chair to taking a picture sitting with a pig. This is not a formal place, but you go to the counter and bring the food back to your table. You can make your order seem more fancy by placing your food items on plates that are provided by the side pop fountain. The meat was cooked and delivered to perfection. The brisket sandwich was great, as well as the brisket stew. The French fries were not crunchy and not up to satisfaction. The corn bread was the most disappointing. It was probably pre-frozen and was dried out."

"While the food was very good, the service was very poor. We visited at 6:30pm on a Saturday evening, sat down promptly (had a reservation), and was given water and chips and salsa right away and was told our server would be with us shortly. The ambience was fun and lively, but the acoustics inside are really loud so that it was difficult to hear a conversation. We did not know who our server was and he never approached the table for 10-15 minutes. We ordered drinks, which took 20-25 minutes to get and when I asked where they were, he said there was a problem at the bar. They were very busy, but he should have told us voluntarily sooner than that. Then he took our food order, and the food was delivered timely by someone else (which is fine), but he never checked back to see if we needed anything, another drink, etc. The food was actually very good and I would like it try it again on a slower evening to see if this experience was an anomaly. Seeing the other reviews, perhaps we hit on a bad night for service, and I am not sure whether the server was new, not trained, or incompetent, but it was sub par. I hope it gets better."
