"We made a reservation, although there were only 4 other tables occupied when we arrived (which should have been an indication of what was to come). We were seated by a very lively hostess, and we were greeted by our waiter with water. I immediately asked for a straw, he said he’d be ‘right back’ with one. He came back moments later and asked if we were ready to order. We were not but I again asked for a straw. Again, I was told he’d be right back with it. When he returned to take our order, without a straw, we ordered and he walked away. Our food was on the table within 6 minutes. In most instances that would be great, but our food was cool...not straight from the fridge cold, but now straight form the oven hot either. I told the waiter my food was cold and he said “I am sorry to hear that.” I asked if there was a remedy for this and only then did he take the food back to the kitchen to warm it. He brought it back, we ate. He checked on us one time, I again asked for a straw. He came back when we were done eating with a straw, and before taking our plates he produced the check. The was placed in the billfold, he took it and asked if we were expecting change. We said “no” and he walked away. I would expect shoddy-ish service if the restaurant were full of patrons, but two tables had left by the time our order was taken. That left us and 2 other tables. There was a man who came from the back who asked how everything was, not sure who he was but at least he cared to ask. I told him I wasn’t impressed with the food or our server. He apologized and disappeared. We did also! I will not be going back for a myriad of reasons; unfriendly and inattentive waitstaff, food was levels below ‘meh’ and was not worth the time it took to get dressed and drive to this location. Also, one very small cornbread muffin was 2.25...it may have been worth 1 at best. Don’t waste your time on this very inauthentic BBQ, unless you’ve never had REAL SOUTHERN BBQ."

"Haven't eaten at a Bdubs in probably 2 years but got together with a friend and decided to stop here, should have known based on the lack of cars in the parking lot that this wasn't the best option. Only giving 2 stars since the waitress was very kind and attentive but the food was far from spectacular. I ordered the 10 piece boneless which was more like a 10 piece popcorn chicken, pitiful little chunks which were dry and somewhat tough. Friend ordered the black bean burger which was decent looking but side of fries was all of a little pinch of maybe 12. I understand prices are going up but portion sizes should not be going down. I remember getting 10 boneless wings in the the past and having nice sized juicy chicken which would fill me up sometimes even would take home leftovers, here we left both still hungry likely will not return."
