"Was often too pescao and more to love. I think it's my favorites in acapulco. the palapa is located on the main road leading to and from the airport. without view or spectacular scenery, they get spectacular eating! The...tuna tostada is excellent, with its signature green hot sauce (picy! and a fried whole fish, really excellent"

"Suggested by a Taxi driver, Buzo’s was a great experience from beginning to end. Informal but friendly, an impressive range of seafood dishes as well as a few meat options. Delicious, generous dishes and excellent value. Highly recommended."

"Whenever we visit Acapulco we make a point of having a meal at El Sirenito. They always, always exceed our expectations. On this visit we had the wonderful Max (our server) who looked after us. The service was amazing - gracias Max. The food were some of the freshest mariscos we've ever eaten and the flavours were just awesome. The kitchen (and I assume it is thanks to the wonderful Max) had not problem in adapting some of the dishes to our needs (more garlic and chilliest etc.). All the employees are really friendly and they seem to live working here. If you are reading this; do yourself a great favour and have a meal at this restaurant. It will stay with you forever. In a good way. We'll be back! Again and again."

"During our trip through Mexico we were staying in Acapulco for four nights. We had a room in the Boca Chica Hotel, which is just next door from this place. We didn't stay close to the "action" on purpose, we wanted to stay in a more (touristy) remote area, that's why we chose the Boca Chica on Caletilla.Caletilla Beach, where this restaurant - actually a Palapa - is located, is a small and very local beach. Families hang out and eat here together. I was the only white guy around (on all four days). And it actually felt very nice to sit between the locals and to enjoy the nice, laid-back atmosphere here on the beach. There's lots of restaurants here and all looke pretty similar. We just chose a place where lots of locals were eating. And it was a brillant choice in the end. This place serves a good range of different seafood and fish. The restaurants here get their fish from the local fishermen - bought on the same day as served. We came here every day...it was just so good and the mood and atmosphere here so great. We had lots of different kinds of fish. Filet or whole. Very good is the "Diabla", which is very spicy. Also very good is the fish "sol"...it's like a fish filet fried in an omelette. Unusual, but great! The whole fried fish (Snapper) was perfectly cooked. Crispy outside, juicy and tender inside. Everything we had was wonderful, except the Pulpo and the Ceviche were a bit average....but still a lot better than in many restaurants. The only thing that can get a bit annoying are the vendors here on the beach....there's at least one every 30 seconds. A friendly "No, gracias" mostly does it...but all the time...well...We had the same waiter every day. A great guy named Diego. He always (from the first day) got us a good table...even brought one from the back when there was none available. On the second, third and fourth visit he even bought us a beer (actually four on the last day) ... he always had one too and drank with us. A great guy. We didn't really speak spanish much and he didn't really talk english, but somehow we understood each other and had some good conversations.Experiences like this is what makes a vacation very special. And this place and Diego really made Acapulco unforgettable for us. If you are around this area, you really need to get to El Mariachi and grab some food....or at least a beer. Of course, if you look for a party...music...and all that stuff, then this isn't for you. But if you wanna hang out with the locals and see that side of Acapulco/Mexico...then this is it!Wanna know more about my trips? "Una buena opción en lugar de Beto Godoy. El pescado a la talla tiene el mismo sazón, el precio es similar, el lugar esta limpio y la atención de los meseros es buena, no hay moscos y estas enfrente del mar por lo que puedes escuchar las olas del mar en todo momento."
