"If you happen to feel hungover or feel the need to eat amazing ceviche...head to this restaurante at around 3pm. Don't recommend earlier, the food seems to taste better after a few hours of being open. Don't ask why?Absolutely delicious one time, but no as great on a follow up visit the next day. Perhaps got lucky on the first meal. However, this place is worth checking out again for consistency."

"Within walking distance of our hotel, so we opted to try it out. My wife had the shrimp tostada, and I had the fish tacos. Both items tasted very good. Many other options on menu. We also ordered the ceviche, which was very tasty. With a drink each, the total bill was approximately $30 US. A very reasonable price."

"This place is located just north of the park next to a hostel. very simple menu. we were treated to some free cerviche n chips which were good. ordered the famous shrimp dog and shrimp quesos. glass bottled coca cola to wash it down. our server was good and the meal was very inexpensive."

"We went to Melaza after the movies on a late Sunday night. Luckily for us their kitchen closes at 1:00 a.m and we were able to enjoy their delicious stuffed portobello and ribeye steak! Even though it was late, our server Eduardo took very good care of us and the manager, Manuel came to say hello. We really like this place, I wish we'd come earlier to enjoy more of their food!"
