"The chilaquiles del mar or something like that are good. Very good chocolate and atoles. For my taste they need to be a little bit more spicy, in other words the kitchen should offer different levels of spiciness"

"Fui a este lugar a comer de trabajo, traíamos algo de prisa y queríamos algo rico, no tan caro y rápido. Que lugar!!! Un lugar totalmente local, pero muy bien puesto. Implacablemente limpio, y el servicio del personal super amable. Hay tacos, platos fuertes, cockteles y tostadas. Bueno, con decirles que repetí dos días seguidos de lo rico que esta!! Recomiendo la tostada especial y el taco de pulpo al olivo! Deliciaaa!!Si quieres una experiencia local, tienes que ir!LIKE LIKE LIKE."

"La comida tiene muy buen sazón, pedimos platillos completos, tostadas y tacos. Muy sabroso todo. Precios razonables a pesar de la ubicación. Solamente que a los meseros les falta organización y capacitación de servicio a cliente. Pedimos tortillas que nunca llegaron y al recordarle al mesero nos dijo "si las teníamos listas pero me las ganaron y se las llevaron a otra mesa" (y no nos dio las tortillas), pedimos una tostada después de que nos sirvieron el platillo a todos y esa tostada tampoco llego; al decirle a uno de los meseros que hacia falta esa tostada le hablo al mesero que nos estaba atendiendo, fue conmigo y me pregunta: que le hizo falta una tostada? -le dije que si y me pregunta: Esta usted segura que me la pidió a mi? -le dije que si y me siguió cuestionando... Asi que mejor opte por decirle que lo olvidara y que ya no me llevara nada.... El menú menciona la cantidad de gramos que trae un taco ( X gramos de pulpo, X gramos de camarón...) y nos llevaron uno de los tacos muy pobre... Al comentarle al mesero muy acertadamente fue con el chef y le dieron solución. En cuestión de bebida; pedimos cervezas y solo los meseros cargan el destapador así que teníamos que estar buscando al mesero para que las destapara pues no estaba atento a la mesa...Como datos adicionales: Los baños estaban limpios, tienen área de juegos para niños y les proporcionan hojas y crayolas para colorear. El wifi nunca agarro. Es importante pedir sello para que no cobren tan caro el estacionamiento."

"Mariscos Solo is a favorite of my friends and me - it's a wonderfully relaxed seafood joint with a small informal dining room (big windows allow the indoor diners to see the outside patio and the streets beyond) and tables for four outdoors. If you're looking for fresh-off-the-boat octopus, shrimp and clam cocteles, this is where they're available without breaking the bank. Their menu is fixed –anything you want as long as it's a coctel in small, medium & large. Oh, they also have a killer ceviche. Ever present are these bags of big round tortilla chips. My pals and I don't mess around - we go for vaso grande with sides of ceviche. Our meals come in paper cups, floating in red sauce que tiene picante - chiles, cilantro & onion. Check out the almeja - 'coctele' or en concha, (in the shell) - or the pulpo (octopus). Or take any of the single seafoods 'solo' - just shrimp or just clam.We get Mexican cokes with cut limes, but they also serve the regular Mexican beers.Below I marked "atmosphere" because the place is full of street-cred atmosphere, and you should know that the "scenic view" marked below is of a bustling intersection where shoeshine guys mingle with cab drivers and then Range Rovers pull up so guys with gold Rolexes send their vamped-up bottle-blonde girlfriends in the joint to pick up their take-out food...When we started showing up there about 20 years ago, the place was called ‘Mariscos Socio,’ Mariscos Solo is just the same - good food and good price!"
