"This place is located within the Plaza Pulpo, where one can find a variety of different restaurants. However, this particular one has really good food, prepared in hygienic conditions. Their recipe, as far as the owner told us, has been in her family as far...as she knows. The main dish (Cochinita Pibil) is typical from Merida (in the Yucatan Peninsula), but they have managed to bring it to Veracruz with some interesting modifications. They serve a hybrid between Tortas ahogadas from Guadalajara and Tacos de Cochinita Pibil that is simply great. In addition, they make a Cochinita Pibil tamal that is beyon good. The attention is great, the owner is always around and the service is very friendly. The prices are really good as well, the torta ahogada is about dls and you'll end up satisfied. My overall impression was good and the food was great."

"Went and had my 1st anniversary with my girlfriend and we were thrilled by everything, staff, food, drinks and furnishings, everything we order was Fenomenal the Entrée, main dishes and dessert, we ordered the Camarones en aguachile for Entree, the two main dishes... were also the salmon and fetters Alfredo cakes and for dessert the 3 Leches cone macadamia. Overall, a great night at the restaurant, excellent staff really friendly and they know their stuff."
