"We booked via Open Table, as it was my wife 's Birthday and she particularly wanted a French dining experience. The first impression of using Open Table was not good when we arrived the the Bistro, they had no record of our booking. Fortunately there were able to fit us in, but as I had a confined reservation number from Open Table, I was not impressed. The Bistro has the ambiance of a French restaurant the decor and lighting is attractive, although the tables are placed a little too closely together for my taste. The food was well presented and reasonable, however... and this is the big one, the menu was not very 'French '! My wife was looking forward to Moules marinière, a classic French dish that was not on the menu which seemed very traditional and English, with only the Duck saving the day. The waitresses were well presented, but whilst reasonably efficient were all very young and lacked any personality,, making us feel like we were in a MacDonalds! All in all, nice food and surroundings, but slightly disappointing."
