"Nice, quiet (the music was relaxing) and really good halal restaurant. Some people in the reviews mention the portion size is a bit small but I found they are totally fine. Good place to eat! We will come back."

"I ordered food through Uber Eats tonight from Taj Mahal in the Glebe where I also reside. The driver brought out a leaking bag of mess. I looked inside and saw all 3 containers lying on their sides. The hot food was spilling out and I looked at the driver. Shawn the driver said to call the restaurant acknowledging the mess. He said he did not understand why the restaurant packed the containers on their sides. I hurried upstairs with the leaking bag and opened it in my kitchen sink. It was a mess! I called the restaurant after cleaning up to explain and ask how this is not a meal and not worth the $42.00 just paid. Instead of trying to understand, the gentleman that answered the phone began to argue with me, stating that he has been packing food for thousands of customers and to send the food back. How do I do that when I don't have a car and do I return half empty messy containers and the bag that was torn and leaking?? Then he accused me of not complaining to Uber!?!? He even implied that I am contriving this incident. Incredulous! Waste of money, messy food that I can't even eat as it spilled out... This is far from professional and it got worse as the Taj Mahal person insisted on his years of service and not offering a solution. Then the call ended, realizing that he hung up on me. I will never order from this establishment again as it was not professional or respectful to this customer."

"Went to their lunch buffet with a friend and we both loved it. I started with vegetarian samosas and another vegetarian appetizer. About 6 sauces were offered on the side varying in heat. There was also mulligatawny soup with chicken. I was Impressed with all the vegetarian dishes. I believe there were at least 4 choices plus a fish dish that I did not try. Also 2 rice dishes and fresh naan. My friend enjoyed all the meat dishes she tried. For dessert there was fresh fruit, rice pudding and some donut hole sized cakey things made with cheese and coriander. All in all, we thought the meal was delicious, as much as you could possibly eat and excellemt value! The owners (?) and staff were very friendly and attentive. I look forward to going back soon."

"A wonderful, delicious, very filling meal! A very quiet and lovely and relaxing place (though to be fair we went early in an evening) lacking in pretension but full of flavour. We had some truly terrific food that was beautifully presented. The service was attentive...without being intrusive, and helpful in describing dishes and spice levels. We shared some terrific samosas with tamarind and I had the chicken vindalho; I requested very spicy , which was tasty without the heat overwhelming the food. Lovely! The portions were large and very filling we left stuffed and very happy. We 'll be back for more soon."
