"I've wanted to dine here for a long time and was not disappointed! We made a reservation earlier in the day and were seated in the intimate dining room right away. Our waiter, Nick, was great and we got each of our courses very promptly. The house baked bread is a must to start with. I had the Rotolo as an entree and it was unlike anything I've had before in a great way! The flavors of the béchamel and pesto drizzle were a perfect pairing. For dessert, my friend and I split the rosemary pound cake and tiramisu which were both delicious and very generous portions. Can't wait to go back and try the pizza!"

"This has hands down become my favorite Italian spot in Pittsburgh. I?ve driven past it a million times and am so regretful I didn?t go sooner! The marinara sauce is the best I?ve ever had (you?ll get it with the bread?it?s fantastic), the wine is an amazing price, and the entrees are wonderful (also the best meatballs I?ve ever had). I love their outdoor patio. On top of all that, they?re a family-run business that pays their staff extremely well, while also keeping prices extremely fair! I can?t say enough good things about this place. Give them your business!!"

"We're not smokers so always opt to eat on the patio. This time Jeff was our server who was very pleasant but, unfortunately, not properly trained. Didn't know much about menu items and nothing about meal specials or available mixed drinks...not his fault. Ordered the buffalo chicken dip appetizer as we often have, but noticed that the pita bread wedges were deep fried instead of baked as was always normal. We soon discovered why. See the mold on surfaces? Guess someone thought they could hide it by deep frying! I next ordered the ravioli meal but 15 minutes later was told that it wasn't available. Unfortunately, my friend's steak hogie was already ordered so only 1 dinner got served. Hogie needed salt but there was none on our table. When I had to retrieve some from another table it was completely solidified. I asked to see a manager about these issues but guess what? There was none present...what a surprise. Bar maid Megan came to address the issues and graciously ordered to cover our bill. That was very appreciated, but by then our evening was ruined. We are now unable to trust the kitchen to prepare anything so I'm afraid one of our normal spots is being totally removed from that list. Owner would do well to take control of this place, start training the staff, being present to observe, etc. No wonder there's such a high turnover of staff...no leadership and accountability."
