"Went for lunch, just two of us, and I was telling my boyfriend I was surprised to see a Mexican restaurant during lunch nearly empty. After waiting over 30 min for our lunch we figured out that was probably why. I was hoping when the food finally arrived the experience would change but I was severely disappointed as was my boyfriend. Rice tasted like they used ketchup instead of traditional tomato sauce, or maybe it was cheap tomato sauce, black beans taste like from a can, maybe they are not sure, and my spinach enchiladas with green sauce still has a lingering taste in my mouth 2 hours later. Now that explained why there were no Mexicans at the restaurant even though we were in a predominantly latino neighborhood.I work just 5 min away and drive by this place almost everyday. I was surprised after my visit that they survived after the pandemic. I think they have potential if they have different recipes. The staff was courteous and plenty of parking which is obvious by the lack of patrons."
